Mineral & Waste Authority (Hants CC)
Hampshire County Council is the planning authority for minerals and waste throughout the County. This means that they have a responsibility to protect Hampshire by making sure the right minerals or waste developments are in the right place, at the right time.
The Hampshire Authorities adopted the Hampshire Minerals and Waste Plan (HMWP) in 2013. The adopted Plan (and its Policies Map) are available to download:

The former Hamble Airfield site contains mineral deposits and is allocated in the Hampshire Minerals and Waste Plan.
